Why we built BrightKite
BrightKite exists because of a pattern we kept seeing. Every business knows it should send a newsletter. Almost none of them do it well, or at all.
The newsletter nobody has time for
It isn't that companies don't care about their newsletter. It's that a good one is genuinely hours of work every week. Reading the industry. Finding an angle. Writing it. Remembering what you said last month. Sending it. It's real work, and it never quite becomes anyone's actual job. So it slips. The newsletter goes out late, then thin, then quarterly, then never.
We've watched this happen to good companies with real stories to tell. The case studies are sitting there. The expertise is sitting there. The audience would genuinely value hearing from them. The work just never gets done, because there is always something more urgent.
We've spent a decade on this kind of problem
Amit founded Tallyfy in 2014. Tallyfy is software that takes repetitive, important, easy-to-drop work off people's plates and makes sure it actually happens. A newsletter is precisely that kind of work. Valuable, repetitive, and the first thing to fall off the list in a busy week.
BrightKite points that same idea at one specific job. We took what we know about removing manual work and aimed it squarely at the newsletter. The result is a managed service, not another tool, because the businesses who need this most are exactly the ones with no time to run another tool.
A service, backed by a real company
BrightKite is built and run by Tallyfy, Inc., a US corporation that has been operating continuously since 2014. That matters for something you're trusting with your business's voice and your subscriber list. You're not handing it to a side project. You're handing it to a company with a decade of operating history.
